Charlotte Tilbury mini lipstick charms

For my birthday my amazing team at work got me this lovely set of mini lipsticks! £29.99 may seem like quite a lot for 3 mini lipsticks but when you think that 1 of these costs around £23 and this is half the size it kinda works out, plus you get to try 3 different lipsticks. I hadn't tried any of these shades before except for swatching ' bitch perfect' and deciding I HAD to have it. You also get ' So Marilyn' and ' Penelope Pink' in the set, I was surprised by Penelope pink as I hadn't given it much thought, thinking it wasn't quite my shade but it's actually a gorgeous brown-y nude whereas bitch perfect is a little more pink. So Marilyn is a gorgeous deep red, very similar to MAC's Russian Red except it's a little more deeper and less matte.

All of these have the great quality you would expect from Charlotte Tilbury, smooth, moisturising and creamy on the lips and these are perfect to pop in your bag for a night out! They have a good lasting on the lips as well. I honestly would purchase all of these in the larger form which really isn't helping with my bank balance and the need to save - if I had to choose one first it would still be 'Bitch perfect'. You can't get this anymore as I think it's a christmas edition but I hope this helps if you wanted an individual shade - though I don't think I need to say too much to swade anyone to purchase CT - I hope next year she does a few more varieties of colour choices.

which is your favourite shade? x

A #veryclearancechristmas

2 weeks ago I was lucky enough to get a last minute spot on the #verymerrychristmas event which involved some crafts and a talk about fashion buying.  When I got there you could see the girls had made such an effort and they had put on an amazing spread - even with their own personalised wine bottles!
Firstly we kicked things off with a little crafting when we each got to design our own bags, I wasn't overly creative and copied Hannah and Catherine's idea of using a doilie to get a kinda circular lace imprint and then put my initials inside. Such an easy and simple idea- it looked great and would make an amazing personalised gift to someone! Next we just chatted while eating some of the lovely bits they grabbed ( FYI apricot Wensleydale is a DREAM) and we even had a guest appearance by a dog - which was so freakin cute!!
Lastly Hannah gave us a small insight into fashion buying and why she picked out the items they brought along to show us, where they came from and some tips on styling them as well. They had some gorgeous jumpers/ dresses and even some Millie Mackintosh clothing! We were all chatting away so much that we had to be kicked out the room as our time was up! It definitely was a lovely event and the girls have been kind enough to offer £5 off when you spend £15 using this link - http://www.ebay.co.uk/sme/veryclearance/so.html?_soffid=5010239108&_soffType=TargetedOffer&_soprvw=1 -it's valid until the 13th december!
Let me know if you get anything! Merry Christmas guys! :)

P.s sorry for the lack of posts, 1) life's been mental 2) my internet is playing up and I can't figure out why! It's taken me several days to get this post up!

Beauty: Review - Lush Reindeer Rock

The best thing about christmas is all the special christmas smelling goodies you can get. The worst thing? not being able to afford them all. I was umming and aahing about buying this because it was the only thing from the range that really caught my eye ( and nose...) as it smells like my favourite bar the comforter. Anyway when I got home I found I hadn't left myself any shower gel or soap as expected.... and I just so happened to pass a lush store... if that's not fate I don't know what is.

this smells amazing, so much berry goodness and when I unravelled it in my bathroom, the whole room smelt delicious. When I wet the bar to use it I found the smell became more muted which is a relief as I may have smelt a little overwhelming for some people.

I don't really need to go into the logistics on how to use a bar of soap, it does what it does, lathers well and smells great so I happily recommend this, its nice, fresh and uplifting. I'm not sure how much this retails at in the UK out here its 36dhs for 100kg so price will vary dependant on how much you buy. I think its like £3 something. anyway I am definitely getting more of this before christmas is over!

What were your favourite christmas products?

This is me until christmas now, so MERRY CHRISTMAS and see you in the new year.

Ciao x
