ASOS wishlist

Christmas is the season for...wishlists! I am the kind of person that adds a million and one things to their ASOS basket, I then tend to watch the items on the cat walk a few times go away and come back to decide if I really want it. To be honest most of the time I can't actually afford to buy anything and must wistfully watch my items till that horrible red out of stock banner comes up.

Here's a few things I'm dreaming of this christmas.

1) ASOS Pencil Skirt in Floral Print on Texture : surprisingly I am not a fan of this as a co-ord but I do love this skirt. I think it would look stunning with a black cami or bralet. Accessorise with a hot pink clutch for bonus points.

2)ASOS Skater Skirt with Stripe Elastic Waistband I've been wanting a skirt like this ever since Beautycrush showed a white one in a haul. I think it would be great for a sports Luxe look!

3)ASOS Skort in Printed Marble Scuba I just LOVE marble prints, I also really love skorts because I  am not the most ladylike when I sit or bend down and this has got me covered!

4)ASOS Mini Skirt in Leather Look I've been after a leather mini skirt for ages, I think it's a perfect item to dress up or down for dates or gigs.

5) ASOS Fine Rib Knitted Turban Hat I have this in black and burgundy and I LOVE them, perfect for a bad hair day, perfect to keep your ears and head warm in winter. EVERYONE should have one!

6) ASOS Lace Swing Dress with High Neck I reaaaaaallly want a swing dress. plus its burgundy and lace - what's not to love? I just wish my works do wasn't black and white or I would have been all over this! ( for anyone who may point out this comes in black, it ain't got nothing on burgundy!)

7) ASOS AFRICA Mono Floral Print Playsuit OH. MY. GOD it was lust at first sight with this, everytime I look at it I am like can I buy it? ( the bank says no but my heart says YES!) It reminds me of an artist I saw at uni and I just love this print!

8) ASOS Poodle Print Envelope Clutch Bag As I thnk we all know I love prints and there is something about this colour combo I really like.

9) ASOS Cocktail Rings Multipack I need more rings, I really want to start wearing more, this a gorgeous little set!

10)ASOS Double Bridge Cat Eye Sunglasse I love cat eye glasses. I also really love tortoiseshell. I think these will be perfect for festivals!

what are you wishing for?

Style: Lavish Alice Wish List AW 2014

When this picture appeared on my instagram I was like HECK YES I am entering that! I have been lusting after a fair few lavish alice products - if you have ventured upon their instagram you will know why.

It wasn't difficult to pick out a wishlist!! So many crisp and tailored clothes! They capture that masculine tailored look and add such femininity to them. I have settled for 6 items I love the most ( not including any jewellery or shoes!)

1. First of all we have the Black & White floral mini dress £45. I think this would be perfect with some chunky black wedges and a neon pink clutch for that little pop.

2 Next we have another dress Cream cropped tee dress £54. Look at the back zip. click on the link and look at it! This dress has such a fantastic structure to it. I think it would be flattering for any shape or size.  With this dress I think a chunky gold necklace and these bill skinner pieces( Ring £60 + Earrings £40. To finish it off I would use this stunning Rose Gold Clutch Box ( £22)

3. Last dress is this beautiful Black Scuba grid dress £45, flattering bodycon style with a lovely grid pattern to show off just the right amount of flesh.

4. I love capes. I love blouses. I love them mixed together even more! I saw a cape blouse somewhere and fell in love. This Black collarless cape blouse £54 is a stunner. I think this is so chic and is a perfect office -> night out piece that can easily be styled for both, perfect avec cigarette pants I feel.

5. This coat...I haven't got words to describe how beautiful this white & grey grid duster coat (£60) is. I have been obsessing over it. I did a post a little while ago about how obsessed I was with grid print lately. I have seen so many grid coats I want to get but this is top of the list. GET IN MY LIFE.

6. Last but not least we have this stunning baroque print skirt & top (£30 each) combo. This looks so flattering and the print is spectacular. I really like the collar and long sleeved combo in the top and I am a sucker for a 'highwaisted' midi skirt. I would keep any accesories to as simple as possible as this clearly speaks for itself.

Which items are your favourite? Better yet why don't you enter the competition here!

style: The almost Co-ord.

I saw this on Emily Cocklin and fell in love with this Lauren pope for inthestyle playsuit. For me this is going to go perfect with a leather jacket, red lip and some black ankle boots. I won't lie I really thought this was a Co-ord dogtooth set when I ordered it. There is a sneaky layer of mesh underneath the top that connects the two.... Which I am actually a little glad about!

I got this with the aim of it being an outfit option for the Arctic monkeys gig this weekend. I will take a full outfit picture of what I do wear and post next week! I was just really excited about this and felt like posting!

How would you style this?

Style SS14 trend: Co-ords

I think its official. I'm in love with Co-ords and I think the fashion world is too...ASOS, Missguided, motel...topshop everyone!
Everyone is loving matching your top and bottoms wether its crop tops and shorts, maxi skirts... the options are endless. For me its about patterns and tailoring. I've ordered myself a Tartan pair from Laura ralph designs perfect for festivals!! I think the best way to style them is to keep everything else to a minimum and let the clothes do the talking!
Here's some of my favs:

Style. Met Ball 2014 top 5.

Everyone is talking about it I know, I just had to get my two cents in about my favourite looks of the night.

I had 5 favourite looks and 1 extra mention.

My extra mention is Claire Danes who looks beaut but just short of my top 5.
who is rocking a dress with Velvet in it and I actually don't shudder at the sight of it! ( I reaaally don't like velvet on clothes....or anything really.)

5.Lui Wen : Not gonna lie I have no idea who she is but there is something so stunning about this gown! The colour, the way it fits and falls, a lot of people tried for dresses that were fitted and then ' poofed' out and failed. Extra points for the bust shape.  Leighton Meester was VERY VERY nearly here. Tough call.

4. Jessica Pare. No idea who she is either ( Oh dear...) but when I first saw this I couldn't stop staring at it, I was like do I like this? do i? and then I was like, I really do. I a pattern freak and this has such a nice fit.

3. Rihanna. I did not for one moment think she would be one of my favourite looks. ( No offence Riri but we have completely different styles.) but I just loooove this look, it is so classic.

2. Amber heard. This juuusst beat Rihanna, only because I think I would suit it more on myself, and I really like the vintage feel this dress has.

1. Emma Stone. Babe. End of. I have seriously fashion envy when it comes to this lady and she did not disappoint just everything is perfect and I don't even like pink all that much!

What were your top looks?

How to: Hair scarf bow tie

Hey everyone!

So I thought I would do a quick and easy how to on tying a scarf round your head, you can use any scarf the one I am using is a light scarf from Topshop, it cost around £18 but I usually use vintage ones.  If its a large squarish shaped scarf like my vintage ones are just place the scarf down and fold it in half so it looks like a traingle and then roll it up!

1. Brush your hair out!

2. Dependant on how you want to style it, I used to always do a kind of ' Rockabilly ' style with a small quiff, you don't need to do this if you don't like it. This is also easier to do with a longer fringe! And I tie my hair up at the back - you can let this loose after.

3. Place the scarf on your head, if you struggle with the scarf moving around a lot, I do because my head is a weird shape, just pin the scarf in at this point.

4.Take the two sides and cross them over at the back and cross them again at the top and tie it up!

Ta-Da, told you it was simple didn't I?

Style: H & M Jewellery Haul ( & Sneaky Topshop Jewellery Haul)

Hey guys!

So I want to focus this post on H&M Jewellery which is why the Topshop mention is in brackets in the title. So I was watching Hello October's haul video and she mentioned a really nice sort of chunky Vshaped H & M necklace and said it was real cheap so yesterday ( I know I said in my march haul that was my shopping for the month...but....it's so cheap!)  I went to have a look......

I kind of intended just to get that necklace, and then I came out with three other things and I had to FORCE myself not to get anything else.

As you can see I got this little set of Studded roses in different shapes, I don't have many studs and want to increase my collection so I bought this gorge little set and it was only £2!!! How could I not?! I think found the same necklace Suzie got and added that to my collection. Then I found the double chain necklace which I think was around £7 or 8 which I had wanted one from Miss Selfridge for ages and it was around £16 and to be honest the metal feels really good, Like it doesn't feel cheap or plastic-y which it would if it was that price at topshop. ( Let's be honest there). and lastly I got the little necklace with a V which was £2 I think - I got this one because I thought it would look really nice and cute with blouses.  All in all my shop came to £16 essentially which would like I said have been the price of ONE necklace in topshop. I am going back today to get some bits for a friends birthday so if I am naughty again I will update this post.

I just really wanted to rave about H & M jewellery because I've always overlooked it and its actually amazing! The only thing I would say is the shop in the trafford center didn't have much in the way of rings, I think I will need to go the city centre one to check those out.

I also did a cheeky mini ring haul in topshop, I am on the hunt for more midi rings - I'm obsessed!!
So I picked up the bird set which I got more for the two other mini rings rather then the bird one itself. I got a flamingo one and a bee ring( which isn't midi.) The bird set was around £7.50 and the other rings were around £5 each. ( can you see why I was so blown away by H&M?)

What are your favourite midi rings? or H & M jewellery?!

Style - Grunge hair braid idea's

Hey guys!
So I thought I would try something new for this post, one of my smaller resolutions was to do  more with my hair this year and get better at styling it. Now it's so short its even harder to attempt anything sadly!

A while back I got some hoops to put in braids from Regal Rose to try something new. You can get different amounts of hoops so like 8,10 or 12. So today I thought I would try out a few idea's I've had for a while - I do apologise for how bad my braids are esp my attempted forehead plait! These are just a couple of idea's that you could do, really you can put these hoops in any braids and these would be perfect for completing a grunge effect at festivals! Something a little different from the flowers everyone has, or perhaps you can do both. If you want some better braid inspiration coincidentally Zoella has done a blog and vlog on milkmaid/ halo braids which you could use these for!

The two attempts I have tried are a behind the ear braid and a forehead one( sorry I know its insanely messy! like I said I'm a braid beginner! - mostly did these to test out the idea)

I can't wait till my hair is longer and I can start braiding easier!! ( and get some milkmaid braids in!)

What are your favourite braid styles?

Style: Delilah Dust

Hey guys!

Sorry there wasn't a post yesterday but I got back pretty late from Amsterdam and just wanted to sleeeeep as I had to get up for work this morning!  Amsterdam was just AMAZING, the trip was so random and hilarious and the city itself is just gorgeous! I think I could properly fit in with my little scooter- everyone had them!

While I was away a little surprise order came from Delilah Dust , I've been obsessed with their necklaces for quite a while and already own two necklaces so when the 30% off came along, how was I supposed to resist?

I picked up these bad boys!

They have just released loads of new stock - I've got my eye on the half moon druzy necklace, druzy studs and the gold plated druzy ring - I just can't get enough!!! These are just beyond gorgeous!!

The orders can take a little while, you do see a lot of people asking where the products are but bear in mind they have to be made and then shipping ( which is free) so the waiting time doesn't bother me and it was such a surprise having no idea when they were going to arrive- like a mini Christmas! The products are so reasonably priced aswell!!

Which products are you guys lusting after?
