Current Lip balm favourites

Everybody needs em. Lip balms. I have really dry lips and can't really go days without one.  Initially it was all about the Baby lips, a clear one and the red cherry one for when I wore red lippie, these are really moisturising and soft. Personally sometimes I like a harder lipbalm, when my lips get really bad espcially in winter really soft lip balms don't really do much for me and then came my obsession with the Korres lip balms. Now I haven't really featured them before because you can't actually buy these which is a MASSIVE shame because they are amazing. These come in the Etihad business class little bag things - you know the ones with the socks and toothbrush. Before you comment, I have never flown business class with Etihad but my parents frequently use their air miles to bump up and since Etihad is AD's airline they use it quite a few times when travelling. Next time I go home I think I am going to hang back and then go through all the ones left over and steal all the lip balms(because there is a chance once my 5 are gone thats it :( ).... that's how much I love these. Anyway Korres do do lip butters and I think I am going to get a few of these to try.  At the blogger meet up we were gifted the Blistex lip balms, the Balmi lip balm and this cute personalised lip balm from sweet cecily's - it has me on it!!! ( they also do make your own kits! - perfect presents!) My flavour is strawberrys and cream which was really sweet of them! I haven't used the Balmi lip balm too much but it has an amazing coconut smell and is really moisturising. I haven't used it much as I have pretty much been reaching for the Blistex lip balms - Strawberry and Mango these taste and smell AMAZING. I would say these are similar to the baby lips in softness and moisturising levels but...better? I prefer them to the baby lips and plus they smell much better! Beauty: Quick morning Cleanse.

I can't be the only one who tries to get every minute of sleep possible in the morning? Even when Bruce ( Le Chat) has woken me up and making sure I wake up to feed him, I am still trying to stay in bed till the last possible minute before I know I'm going to be late for work. Because of this I needed a quick and easy morning routine here comes these bad boys:

1) I start by cleansing with the good things cleanser, I might do a full review of this because it really is a good product and I feel it deserves more then a few quick lines. Basically any left over muck I didn't get off the night before or anything that's got on my face in the night. Since its gotten hotter I find my skin is more oily in the morning...anyone else?

2) Then I use the Lush tea tree toner, again this will get a full review but at the moment I feel its to recent a purchase to make a good review. In the mornings I spritz this onto a cotton circular thing...( technical!) and then wipe my face. You can spray it straight on your face - I do this at night but it's a bit much in the morning!

3) Add on the korres moisturiser and let that sink in while I make breakfast and before any make up goes on. I reviewed this moisturiser here. I wasn't sure at first but now I know why everyone is raving on about this. It has completely balanced out my skin and it is no way near as red - to the point I could actually go out happily with no foundation, which is a pretty big deal!

Just a quick update on the blog: I am super broke so there may not be many reviews or much going on this month, I've had a lot going on but will do a brainstorm this weekend on what I can do :)

Beauty: Review - Korres Wild Rose Moisturiser

I think I mentioned a few times I was after this moisturiser( £20) to try. It smells really nice and it has a really nice texture to it, not as gloopy as the nivea day cream I was using but not as much as a cream as the night cream, kinda in between. Thats not overly helpful is it? Sorry! It feels nice and fresh in the morning anyway and makes your skin feel lovely and soft!
I saw my friend the other day and she said my skin was looking really good! I was like really?! I hadn't noticed a massive difference but it could be a combination of this and the NARS tinted moisturiser? I have started back at hot yoga and expected a break out and I haven't had one so this is definitely doing something!
Maybe this isn't the most helpful review, truthfully I've been putting it off because I just couldn't decide how to say what I wanted. Value for money? at £20 it is quite a lot but I got it on discount on ASOS for £16 so I didn't feel to bad. I think I will most likely be repurchasing this as I'm enjoying it a lot more then the nivea!

Beauty -Spring 2014 Beauty Wishlist

Hey guys!
So this post is pretty lame but I'm still seriously ill and I just want to rest. I did kind of want to stop doing wishlists but I thought one last one wouldn't hurt! :)

1. Ambient lighting blush - Mood Exposure : I don't know what it is about these blushes but the inner artist in me is screaming to buy them all! They are just stunning! Looking at all of this I think Mood Exposure will be my first purchase of the lot! It seems to have quite a mauve tone similar to the Topshop blush - Dream phone that I just bought.

2. Bumble and bumble - City Swept : I've been eyeing this because it looks like a quick fix texturising spray and I think it would be perfect for work when I've taken my helmet off ( I drive a motorbike) to give my hair a little more oompf and a little less helmet hair.

3. Zoeva - Rose gold brush collection : Not gonna lie, I have been eyeing this up for months now, imagine my devastation when I finally get the money and it's out of stock!!! ( this seems to be a reoccuring theme here, definitely need to win the lottery!! ) I am obsessed with rose gold and the thought of it being on my brushes is too exciting! You get 8 essential brushes and a gorgeous elegant bag to put them all in! Perfect for travelling!

4.NARS -  Narcissist Eye palette : I did actually reserve one of these. I think I missed the call and it is sold out AGAIN. I umm'd and ahh'd about this because it had mixed reviews but the more I can't have it the more I HAVE to have it.Those two purple toned shades NEED to be in my life.

5. Charlotte Tilbury - Vintage Vamp Palette : You can never have enough eye palettes. This one is gorgeous! 4 colours that work so well together and give a new take on the 'smokey eye'

6. Estee Lauder - Pure colour envy lipstick in Rebellious Rose: I have a list of these lipsticks that I want but this is the chart topper. Nice mauve tone I think would be perfect for day to day! ( do you notice a natural mauve theme in my products?!)

7. Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal Mask to Clear Pores - I have a pore complex. I just hate them and I will try anything to get rid of them!! I've heard a lot of amazing reviews about origins and I think this would be an ideal first purchase! I really want to up my beauty routines this year.

8.Living proof - primer : As I mentioned above. helmet hair is not a cool look, neither is windblown-to-fuck hair; which always seems to happen to me! I've seen really good reviews about how this helps hair to stay put for days!

9. Korres - Wild rose + Vitamin C sleeping mask: As I mentioned above I really want to up my beauty game in the sense of getting better at cleansing and taking care of my skin. I use a nivea night cream but I am unsure how I feel about it so I think this is going to be the next contender for my night cream staple.
