Beauty: 2014 favourites.

Safe to say there were a few products I fell in love with this year:

1) Nars tinted moisturiser, I got this in June and I haven't gone back.... summer/ winter this is an all rounder for me, it feels so light on  my face and never feels cakey or heavy even when my face starts to feel a little oily.( a problem I found with previous foundations) It covers most of my redness, the rest I use concealer on - under eye and cheeks. I just cannot bring myself to use another foundation.

2) MAC russian red - If you are to ever own a MAC lipstick make it this one, it's stunning, it's my absolute go to red lipstick whenever I plan an outfit and I think red lip? I go straight to this ( although hearts aflame is a close second)

3) Zoeva make up brushes: I got the rose gold set in april after falling in love with how beautiful they were - I mean ROSE GOLD come on! I had to own them after lusting after them for months and these brushes are amazing! I've been toying with buying some zoeva eye brushes as I don't have a lot of brushes and I want to experiment and get better at applying make up this year - and then they release a rose gold eye brush set. hello cheeky new years purchase!!! I think they are just as good as mac and I do prefer the eye brushes I have to the realtechniques eye brush I own as I feel its too rough.

4) L'oreal TXT spray, I love this, it gives me volume and gives my hair that rough'd up look I try to acheive so much!

5) Tangle teezer - if you have ever owned one you understand. if you haven't owned one GO NOW. GO NOW and buy one and your hair will thank me later!

6) MAC mystery eyeshadow - my brows don't need anything else. and MAC Sable - my go to eyeshadow when I don't have time to sit and decide which shades match what I am wearing.

  1. Ooh I might try the Loreal TXT spray - I want volume so badly but my hair always goes flat! I wanted it looking a little roughed up and textured if that makes sense without being sticky or stiff on my hair. Might give this a go!
